Certified Utility Arborist (CUA)
Certified Utility Arborist Apprentice

Experienced Timber Cruisers & Compassmen & GPS Technicians

TDB has openings for experienced Timber Cruisers, compassmen and GPS’ers. Experience in deciduous cruising would be an asset. This is a hands-on position with significant fieldwork and possible project management responsibilities. The successful applicant will have a minimum two years related experience. Preference will be given to A.T.C.’s. Work is located throughout northern BC and will involve a mix of town and camp work.

Forest Technician

TDB has openings for experienced Forest Technician(s) to undertake work in the areas of cruising, GPS data collection, road and block engineering, SP data collection, stream assessments and other related field duties. This is a hands-on position with significant fieldwork and possible staff management responsibilities. The successful applicant will have a minimum 2 years related experience and be registered as a R.F.T or eligible to register as a R.F.T. Work is located throughout northern BC and will involve a mix of town and camp work.

GIS Technician

The ideal candidates will have graduated from an Advanced GIS program. The candidates must demonstrate extensive ArcGIS experience; GPS data processing experience; Forestry related project experience; and GENUS experience is preferred but not essential.
All of the successful candidates must be team orientated and will possess strong organizational and communication skills.
