Key Features

Compact size
The FORCAT 2000 is 46" wide by 116" long.
Manoeuvrability
The quality characteristic that makes the FORCAT 2000 a unique work tool is its hydrostatic system. In fact, the hydrostatic system allows the operator to operate both tracks independently. It is possible to operate one track forward and one backward in order to have a zero degree turn radius.
Very low ground impact
The big track contact surface (about 1200 inē) gives a very low ground impact (about 2,3 lb/inē) resulting into a great performance on wet grounds. This gives the possibility to work in the worst spring and autumn conditions. The FORCAT 2000 will run through swamps where it is impossible to walk through.
Strength
The hydrostatic system combined with the big track contact surface give a lot of strength to the vehicle.
Power and traction at low speed
The principal quality of an hydrostatic system used in the FORCAT 2000 is that you get a lot of power at a very low speed. Since both tracks are always in action because of their independent hydraulic drive, the tracks always keep tracking on the ground. The big track surface (1200 inē) grips to the ground to obtain a great traction. This means that contrary to wheel vehicle driven mechanically, the FORCAT 2000 does not require a momentum to run over an obstacle.
Versatile Equipment
The FORCAT 2000 is equipped with a powerful 8,000 lb hydraulic winch, a hydraulic front blade to move and pile the logs and a hydraulic back plate to lift the head of the logs and brake the machine when winching.
Low maintenance and fuel consumption
Because the FORCAT 2000 is completely hydrostatic, it requires very low upkeep. Regular maintenance of the engine, hydraulic oil, hydraulic filter and appropriate service of the grease points are the only maintenance to be done on the vehicle. The FORCAT 2000 will run with 5 to 7 gallons of gas for a day of work.
The FORCAT 2000 was specifically designed for partial cut and individual tree extractions, and its heavy duty design will respond to your tough job situations. For pricing and availability options, please contact TDB Consultants today.
