About Us

TDB opened its doors in Prince George, British Columbia, in 1987. The company was started by Timothy Douglas Baines, the company's namesake. Over more than 20 years TDB grew into a successful resource management company adding expert staff, new capabilities and progressive technologies to better serve its clients.

In 1999, Mr. Baines left the company to pursue other opportunities. TDB continued to prosper under careful and stable management, building its reputation for providing innovative solutions to the resource business community. The company demonstrated its innovative and progressive approach by partnering or investing in complimentary businesses such as LHITUTL'IT Services, Applied Mapping Technologies, Orion Systems, and Borealis to better serve its client base.
